We’re turning 50 — and you’re invited to help us celebrate!

On Saturday, 7th June, Shannon Swimming & Leisure Centre will mark its 50th Anniversary, and we’re planning a day full of fun, fitness, and community spirit.

To thank you for being a part of our journey, we’re offering FREE activities all day long for individuals, families, and local clubs!

What’s happening?

Free children’s activities including face painting, balloon twisting, mini discos, inflatables, and a roller derby demo

Free fitness classes throughout the day

Jive and Social Line Dance Taster Workshops

Open access to our gym, swimming pool, steam room, sauna, and ice bath

Over the last five decades, nearly every sports club, social group, and team in the area has passed through our doors — and now we want to celebrate with you. We’re inviting all local clubs and community groups to use our facilities free of charge on the day.
