Coach Stephan Teeling-Lynch is head coach at Shannon masters. Shannon Masters offers its members an opportunity to learn, train and compete in the sport of swimming. Shannon Masters was established in 2010 due to the demand for a club that catered for both the swimmer and the triathlete with the aims of improving not just their conditioning but also their technique.
The clubs for caters for all levels of swim-ability from beginner to advanced. We do have a 2 length minimum front crawl standard to enter the beginner lanes. We mainly focus on distance front crawl events. However we cover all strokes in training.
We are an inclusive club and we cater to athletes at all stages of their development, recognising the importance of individual goals, we support each athlete in achieving their own potential.
The Club promotes a team environment, where friends gather, where the athletes have fun and train together in a safe, supported and encouraging environment. Shannon Masters Swim Club always aspires to give you the best Training environment, to foster enjoyment, competitiveness and loyalty.
Shannon Masters where appropriate or possible can be used for GoTri athletes where swim coaching is involved.

Welcome to the Burren Sub Aqua Club. Burren Sub Aqua Club is based in County Clare, Ireland. The club itself was founded in 1992 and now has some 30 members. The club is affiliated with CFT (Comhairle Fó Thuinn – Irish Underwater Council), which is in turn affiliated to CMAS (Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques) the world governing body.
We train at Shannon Leisure Centre on Wednesday’s at 8:00pm starting back 22nd October
We dive mostly out of Doolin, Quilty, White Strand and Ballyreen. The diving on the West coast (Clare, Galway and Mayo) holds its own on the world’s diving stage. The coast and off-shore islands offer amazing diving with steep drop offs and a multitude of colourful walls. The clear and temperate water (9 to 15 °C) of the Atlantic is ideal for a profusion of marine life. Lobsters, crayfish, prawns and conger eels will passively observe from under their rocks, while curious cuckoo wrasse, pipefish and pollack swim about.
Shannon Jets Basketball Club caters to male and female players from age six upwards, with teams at most age categories competing in the Clare Area leagues and with senior Men’s teams competing in the North Munster league.
The season generally runs from October through March. To get involved, visit shannonjets.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
