A little bit about me:
My career has been in the area of either sports administration & UL Central Administration
• Sports Officer & GAA Development Officer LIT (1990-1993)
• Sports Supervisor & GAA Development Officer University Limerick (1993-1997)
• Head of Scheduling & Graduations University of Limerick (1997-2001)
• Part Time Lecturer in PLC sports course & part time lecturer in Marketing course (1994-2000)
• Manager & subsequently Financial Controller Shannon Leisure Centre 2001-present

Achievements:
Being part of the development and growth of our community leisure centre over the past 13 years and giving something back to the community in which my children are being reared. Developments include playground, redesign of complex, new gym and fitting out of same

Goals:
Recently qualified as a Tutor with Swim Ireland it is important to me that we continue to deliver quality swimming lessons and coaching at Shannon Leisure Centre. To do this we need to ensure all our staff are trained and re-trained to the highest possible standards in our industry. Not only is Shannon Leisure Centre the finest recreation & leisure facility in our region it is also a centre of training for all areas of aquatic professional development. Under our roof we will run Swim Teaching, Swim Coaching and Lifesaving courses, all of which are assessed under their respective governing bodies, Swim Ireland, Coaching Ireland and Irish Water Safety.

I hope to continue to develop Shannon Leisure Centre and am excited to progress to the development plans of the recent Sports Capital application.

Sporting Achievements:
As a youngster I played a lot of camogie for Wolfe Tones and Clare. I also competed in a number of triathlons including Hell of the West.
