Swim Teachers Courses at Shannon Leisure Centre

Shannon Swimming & Leisure Centre are holding the following Swim Ireland Teaching Practical sessions.  

Level 1 Assistant Swim Teacher (full course) |TBC

Level 2 Swim Teacher (full course) | TBC

To be eligible to attend the practical sessions you first need to have online learning and a virtual classroom course completed. Please visit here for more information.

Prior to booking a Swim Ireland Swimming Teacher course, you will require Swim Ireland Garda Vetting/ Swim Ulster Access NI– you can find the forms and the updated information on how to apply for Vetting by clicking here. 

Safeguarding is also required to book this qualification – you can find our upcoming courses by clicking here.

If no course is available and/or you would like to take part in a future course, please fill out our expression of interest form and we will contact you directly when the next one comes available. This will give us an indication of the level of interest in each level. Once we have sufficient interest we will be able to plan courses accordingly.
